The last few years in the keys have
been pretty windy during tarpon season so if you are practicing,
practice in the wind. This will help you tremendously. Don't
get stressed out about getting your fly line out 100 feet.
Most tarpon are caught within 40 ft. Get the fly there fast

Fly
fishing for tarpon is one of my favorite things to do. Watching
a 80 or a 100 lber take a fly and soar through the air is
priceless especially for the first time tarpon angler. Honestly, it is not the easiest thing
to do. Precise casting is necessary to achieve this most sought after goal.
Minimal false casts is essential. Getting the
fish to eat is the hard part. With some help from me, we can
get on the right track to catching your dream fish on fly.
